JONAS TROYER, COLOR EXPERT, TO RETIRE FROM BOLTARON AFTER 28 YEARS OF SERVICE
Newcomerstown, OH September 7, 2017
Boltaron announces the retirement of Jonas Troyer, Color Coordinator. With the company for more than 28 years, Jonas first joined Boltaron in July of 1989 when it was known as General Tire & Rubber Co.
Jonas was a key leader in the development of Boltaron’s state-of-the-art color matching department, dedicating his time to research, investing in and optimizing color matching technology, and building relationships with key influencers in the industry.
"I never thought Boltaron would ever get to where it is today. The company's success is really due to the leadership and the vision of Dean Li and Larry Schorr. I want to thank them dearly for what they’ve done for the company. Just the vision they’ve had – and the clarity of knowing that this is where we want to be," he said. "I’ve really made some good friends out there in the industry – from suppliers, to end users, to customers. That’s what I’ll miss."
Boltaron’s color matching and specialized design department has grown significantly since it was first established and now leads the industry with unique color, texture, and finish matching capabilities that meet the evolving demands of the aesthetics-focused aircraft interiors market.
Senior Lab Technician Amy Durben will take over the lead color matching role after Jonas retires. Amy has been with the company since 2008 and has extensive experience in color lab technology.
Jonas plans to move to Pensacola, Florida with his wife, Cynthia, daughter, Deborah, and son, Christopher.
